About Hill City Auto Detail

Fully detailed “detailing”, not just a car wash that claims to “detail”. For when you want the best your car can be.

Located at 2220 Lakeside Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24501, Hill City Auto Detail operates as an auto detailing serving Lynchburg in Virginia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Detailers in Lynchburg usually work by appointment and book up before holidays and in spring, when pollen and winter salt come off. Mobile detailers bring water and power to your driveway or office lot, which is convenient but slightly more expensive. Across Virginia, prices for ceramic coating and film vary widely with the amount of paint correction needed first, so ask for a written quote after the shop has seen the car. Check the listing for the services offered, whether the shop is mobile or fixed, warranties on coatings and film, and the tint percentages legal in your state.

John and the team at Hill City Auto Detail did an impressive job restoring our 5-year-old, 67,000-mile Subaru Forester to a like-new condition in just 24 hours. The results speak for themselves. It was easy to submit an inquiry, agree on a service date, pay the deposit, drop off the car, pick up the car, and pay the remaining balance. No surprises, no problems. I highly recommend this local business!

I cannot recommend Hill City Auto Detail enough! They completely transformed my 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz truck and exceeded every expectation I had. Automatic car washes had left my paint covered in terrible, dulling swirl marks and micro-scratches. To make matters worse, I had some deep scratches from a parking lot rub that I thought would require a body shop. The paint correction work done here was nothing short of miraculous. They completely removed the parking lot scuffs and eliminated every single swirl mark. The paint now looks flawless, glassy, and has a deep, mirror-like shine that looks even better than the day I drove it off the lot. They also did an absolutely incredible job on the interior leather detail. My seats went from looking a bit worn and shiny from daily use to having that beautiful, rich, matte finish that you only see on a showroom floor. The leather feels incredibly soft, thoroughly conditioned, and the truck smells brand new again without any greasy residue left behind.John and his team's attention to detail, professionalism, and sheer skill are unmatched. If your vehicle needs some serious love, do not hesitate to book an appointment with Hill City Auto Deta

John is the best! His work is impeccable! I have used him for a ceramic coating on my tlx and now a detail on my mdx. Both were amazing 🤩 give him a call you won’t regret it. Better than showroom quality.

I finally got around to scheduling a paint correction and ceramic coat with John based on word of mouth and his reviews. I am very nit picky and notice the small things yet John’s work certainly met my expectations. The final results were outstanding and well worth the money! I will be taking my Mustang to him again in the future for upkeep.
